I’ve started using myspace since I was 16 I think and since that, I’ve learn a lot from my brother. Thanks to him because he has teach me a lot about the computers and one of them is HTML that are used to design in many websites, blogs and many more. Its not that I’m a pro in using HTML but I just know a little bit and still struggle to use it because it is hard to memorized the terms and weird words. Today, although I’ve learn a lot about HTML, I still struggle to edit my blog and myspace design but with the help of websites that give advice about HTML. It helps me a lot.
Internet security
When I used the internet for the first time, I didn’t know that the internet has viruses and will harm our computer. When time passes by, I’ve started to know and what are the viruses is. Nowadays, internets are full with virus, worms, Trojan, spyware and junk mail. Once, my computer at home has been format because virus that makes it doesn’t work properly and make it runs slower. At first, it interferes with the computer operation that is when the task manager cannot be opened. Then it corrupts some of the data and deleted it without my permission. After experiencing many problems, my brother decided to format the computer to eliminate the virus and it work. After that incident, I’ve learned many things about computer and started to learn bit by bit from my brother about computer. Some virus is harmful and some are just created to cause annoyance and it also can replicate itself to other program, other hard disks as well as other computers via a host. Today, I’m not quite a skillful person about computers but I know a little bit of knowledge if something goes wrong to my laptop, I can fix it on my own. Now I’m using the “NOD32 Anti-virus”.
Netiquette & Netizen
Netizen is a term given to people who work, live and spend time on the internet. So, I’m also a netizen itself because I work and spend some time on the internet. Today, most people can be considered as netizen. Netizen means Net + citizen.
Netiquette means guidelines for posting messages to online services. When surfing the internet, people must follow certain standard or procedure to communicate with each other. The first rule of netiquette is “Do not capitalize everything” because it will make like you are shouting at people. Second is “Criticism” that means it is hard to interpret people mind in the internet. Third is “Avoiding Humor” that means some people don’t understand humor so used the emoticon to make it easier. Fourth is “Reply quickly” that is we should reply message to others quickly because it is not good to make others wait. Fifth is “multiple recipient” that is people should be careful to whom they are sending their email because we don’t want any problem to occur when we send wrong email to people.

Web browsers
What are web browsers? Web browsers are software used to view or browser the web. The most popular browser is the Microsoft Internet Explorer. The second most popular is Mozilla Firefox and for me I preferred Mozilla Firefox because of its characteristics that is its interface design is simple nad not too crowded. Then is has the specialty to block small viruses like worms and also block unwanted websites. To me both IE and Mozilla Firefox are the same but it also depends on the user itself. Right now, I’m learning to use other web browser such as Opera and Safari. Although it is quite hard to learn but I wanted to see what is other web browser has to offer to the user.
Internet
I’ve known internet since I was 15 years old but at that time, my house use the dial-up internet connection that makes a weird sound when I’m trying to connect to the internet and it is very slow. At first I didn’t care much about the speed because back at that time, the internet is still a new thing in Malaysia. I think. Now, after learning the meaning of internet taught by miss Farah Aini. I’ve know the meaning of internet that is a computer network that spans the globe and it consist of millions of computers and user. The puspose of internet is to send information from one computer to another. Today, internet connect by wires, cables or satellite and what I used at my home is “streamyx” provided by TM Malaysia and to me the speed of the internet connection is still slow. By using internet, we can send email, chat with other people and search through the World Wide Web to seek for any information. There are 3 ways to get connected that is first you must get a computer. Second, choose a Internet Service Provider (ISP) and third is set up a internet software just like the Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox.
Weblogs
What are weblogs actually? At first, I’m really confused before I know what blogging is. Weblogs are websites that are updated often many on a daily basis. It is often designed very simple but some people who are skilled create their own weblog design. Usually, people use weblog as a personal diary. Blogging to me has it own limitation because not all information can be shared to people especially about private life. By blogging everyday, people will become a more confident writer. MUET exams
Finally, the day i've been waiting for has come. Although it is the second time i'm taking the MUET exams, i feel a little bit confident rather than the first time. It is this weird feelings that makes me calms to endure the hard time because of MUET. Last thurday, i've to skip my class just because the schedule of my MUET exam and my E-learning class starts at the same time. Luckily i got an excuse. The second time taking MUET has give me the advantages rather that anyone at that time because i know what to do and i think that i talked a lot at that time. To think it back, it is quite funny because i just speak like a crazy person and don't know how to stop. Right now, just waiting the time to endure writing, listening and reading test. Hopefully i past the MUET exams with flying colors because i wanted to continue my study to become a successful English lecturer.
